I know who I am

Virginity

48f54c3be2d0aSo I wrote this poem in grade 11 and handed it in to my Creative writing class. My teacher claims that this is the poem that got my poetry spiraling into motion

Virginity

He took my face,

In his hands

And lured me into the bed

It was pounding through my chest,

My heart

And our clothes stripped off of our bodies

Like stickers in the heat

We touched,

Our bodies tingled with

Electricity

Shocks of sexual tension

From months of waiting

Inside

Our quivering lips

Touch

So fast,

So soon

His hair traced across my bare chest

And tingled my neck as his lips

Grazed

Across my face,

Mesmerizing my lips,

My neck,

His tongue

His lips

Lashes swept across my beaded forehead

Burying himself

Deep inside of me

My heart racing

My pained aching body

Yearned for more

Pressure,

From his chest on mine

And when it was done

I held the red sequins

of blood

And flushed the evidence

Down the drain

Red,

The color of love

It was then I knew

I loved him

Wow, I wish my first time had been like that!
